A free web host is an enticing option for just about any kind of hosting. Anyone who is new to the whole business web hosting would be surprised to know that a service can be gotten on the web without spending a dime. It surely is a very attractive offer for we all who want to save whatever we can in this time of recession. And one of the biggest advantages of running a business on the web is that you do not have to spend just as much as you have to spend on say, rent a store and pay electricity bills etc.

The only real money that you have to spend on your web business goes into the advertisement of your site. Advertisement is like a lifeline for both the online business and the web hosting service per se so it is one of the only things where customers spend money lavishly. When it comes to hosting, some like to stick to the more conventional cheap web hosting services which offer a satisfactory service for meager charges, while others even make-do with the free hosting.

Now that may seem like a good option to anyone since you are not required to spend any money so you can think that you have nothing to lose but that is so wrong! A free service just does not have the necessary tools to serve either you or your business right. As opposed to business hosting, there are no real plans in free service since you are not paying anything, the host does not expect users, not customers or clients, to have any kind of expectations at all and in most of the cases, they do not! And that is what works for both of them since most of the users of such a service are either dispassionate bloggers or non-serious webmasters. That is to say anyone but a businessman.

Everything free is not necessarily good too, like in this case. Okay so you are not spending anything but you sure are uploading some valuable content, right? How free service is not the best web hosting service for your business is that they do not come with any reliability or bandwidth and offer very little space. One day your site could be there and the next day, it could go disappear into thin air without even you realizing where it went. If you do not like to spend a lot then pick cheap hosting and you should be fine.
